Informational use only
Pathmatric provides admission-odds estimates and college matches for planning purposes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or able to influence any college. Estimates are not predictions, guarantees, or admissions decisions. Always confirm requirements, deadlines, and costs directly with each school.
Eligibility & your account
Pathmatric is intended for students aged 16 and older. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the awareness and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. We may suspend or close any account that misuses the service or violates these Terms.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information — estimates are only as good as what you enter.
- If you report admission outcomes, report them honestly so peer data stays meaningful.
- Use the service for your own college planning, not to scrape, resell, or misuse the data.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
Intellectual property & your content
The Pathmatric name, application, design, and admission model are ours and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may use them for your own personal college planning, but you may not copy, scrape, resell, reverse-engineer, or build a competing product from them. The information you enter — your profile, uploads, and any reported outcomes — remains yours; by using the service you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service to you and to generate the aggregated, anonymized statistics described in our Privacy Policy.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions made based on the estimates. Data is drawn from public sources and self-reported information and may contain errors or be out of date.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathmatric and its creator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any admissions, financial, or other decisions you make based on the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pathmatric and its creator from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of others.
Changes to the service & these terms
Pathmatric is an evolving project; we may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time. We may also update these Terms — when we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
